From deep in UC Berkeley’s fundraising floor, a secret gallery occupying a cubicle has been percolating for two years. This office-set micro gallery ( Mauve?) has recently undergone an official transformation, assuming a new moniker: Mauve? Office of Exhibition. On this biennial birthday, we release our first large-format print journal featuring works by and words about previously exhibiting artists. A concurrent weekend-exhibition selects work from these last 20+ shows that have often responded to the context of our office gallery by bringing a little bit of home into the workplace.
